Billionaire.

I wanna be a billionaire, so fricking baaad. Well, I'd settle for a few thousand pounds at the mo. Hell, one thousand will do.

But what would you do if you won £180million on the lottery?
It's a conversation Connor (my housemate) and I have regularly.

I've always promised my Gran if I ever won or came into a lot of money, I'd buy her a bungalow. And I'd stay true to that promise. I'd also head straight to Newcastle (nearest big city to me) and just spend. I'd spend until I couldn't carry any more, and probably spend a bit more and go back for it later. Because if I won £180million, I'm never going to spend even a large chunk of that! Mainly because I'd still shop in New Look and Dorothy Perkins. Might venture into Monsoon a little, but only if I really like the stuff. I always like the stuff in New Look. It's like torture walking around that place. (Working it out, probably no more than, £100,000 on the clothes, and £700,000 on the bungalow)

It'd also be great coz I'd be able to sort my teeth out. Veneers, bleaching, whatever it would to take to sort out my horrible gnashers. (We'll overestimate with £1,000 here)

I'd get a financial adviser. Maybe invest in something, or in property. I'd probably by a flat/house in London, Manchester and Newcastle (I'm going to go with a couple of million here - I don't want anything huge!). I'd buy my mum and dad a house (£900k), and put some money away for them and my sisters (£5m each too much?). I'd also give money to my nearest and dearest (again, I've got £180m, so a good £3m each. There's about 6 people I would probably give this too).

I'd then maybe decide to "nip" to Spain, and see my friend Ollie. While I'm there I'll go to Barcelona, and maybe over to Rome and Milan, because why not? (£3k, I'm not planning on shopping in Milan, just yet anyway) I'd also probably spend the summer going to various places across the world: Australia, Thailand, China, Japan, America, India, South Africa, Egypt. Maybe not all in one summer, but I'd have no hesitations to going to these places. I'd also head to a festival - maybe V Fest or T in the Park. I mean, with all that money I should still be able to get a ticket right (£200k, for now)?

I'd then do something selfless, and give a good chunk to charity. Help For Heroes would be one massive beneficiary (£5m), and I would also give to Great Ormond Street (£3m), and adopt a fair few endangered animals (£2m).  I'd most probably give a decent amount of money to other charities, these were just the first things that came to head. (So we'll say £10m for others)

I'd pay off my debts, and my tuition fees. I'd also change my accommodation at Uni, because yeah I think I'd still stay in Uni accommodation, even though I'd have a house/flat in Newcastle. That would be for the experience. But I wouldn't need to worry about the cost anymore. I could also pay off my overdraft, my credit card, and the student loan from the first time around (This in total comes to about £55k)

This done, I'd settle down to enjoy life. A new car (£50k maybe - I want a nice one), my new properties, and the promise of things on the up. I'd still go to Uni, and I'd still try and get a job when I graduate - I mean I don't want to spend my whole life just not doing anything. I may take a year out after graduating to travel, but I'd come back and try and get a decent graduate job. I'd just have the added plus of not needing the money so much, so I could do a job I really loved.

This brings my total expenditure to: £49,811,000. So I'd have £130,189,000 for the rest of my life (I think...). That's a lot. Like I said, I'd invest some, but some in a high interest savings. Make sure the taxman didn't get hold of it - that's the good thing about lottery winnings, non-taxable income. I'd need it obviously to run my car, pay bills and insurance on various aspects of my life - I'd also spend a lot travelling. But all in all, £180m would come in handy.

But like I said, right now I'd settle for £50k maybe. Just because that would mostly cover my debts now, and the tuition and living fees of the next three years. I'd stay in the accommodation I've chosen with £50k, but that's not a bad thing.

So if anyone knows a surefire way to get a few grand, let me know?

A girl can dream, right?
